The message Bythlon wanted to present to the new UK market was to ride with confidence, encouraging new cyclists and existing cyclists to feel safe on their bikes. With an overwhelming number of new cyclists venturing onto our roads during lockdown, Bythlon wanted to encourage and nurture confidence, building a community around the brand.

With an existing website that lacked functionality and design flare, we needed to start from the ground-up, so Socially Grown designed a fresh look for the UK site, creating a suite of imagery to support both the web build and social strategy, whilst ensuring the site was easily-navigable, user-friendly and centred around the features and benefits of the product. We introduced reviews to the buy now page and encouraged existing customers to post feedback to enhance credibility and drive new users to click “buy now”.


Our aim was to create a website that included demonstrative videography, FAQ’s and the sharing of knowledge via regular blog posts.

Bythlon also required a strategic approach to digital promotions that delivered all the product benefits to its audience with easy to understand messaging.

We needed to transform perceptions of pedals and heavily promote the Bythlon brand.

With a variety of potential customers, from new cyclists, to cyclists recovering from an injury, to cyclists who had lost their confidence, we needed a content strategy that would appeal to all audiences.

#ridestrong was introduced to followers who were invited to upload their #ridestrong photos on social media platforms. The campaign was created using videos, “how to” demonstrations, stories, reviews and engaging conversations surrounding cycling adventures.

We focused our efforts on delivering a marketing campaign aimed at maximising Bythlon’s investment by utilising a range of channels; email marketing, social media and PPC.
